Hello all!

Had a great Summit house wedding in Fullerton last Saturday with Scott and Anita Lee! The Summit house is a fantastic location with top notch service. Their staff was very courteous and helpful throughout the day. Looking forward to more Summit House weddings in the future. Also really enjoyed working with Sarah O of Sundrawn Studios again. Feeling Completely recharged after spending most of last week chilling at Jalama Beach on the central coast with my Family. We had a long caravan with My brother Danny and I fully loaded with both of our tent trailers in tow, for the slow drive up the coast. We spent the majority of the week playing with our kids and hanging out chilling on the beach. Jalama Beach is a little off the beaten track. Rolling amber hills with sparse oaks standing guard meet the rocky cliffs of the pacific. It is truly spectacular to see! I had the opportunity to sneak off for a couple runs along the bluffs. There were Hawks, deer, cows, lizards, seals, great white sharks……..okay no great whites, but you get the idea! Nature was everywhere. So different from my typical runs around signal hill in Long Beach.
We also had the chance to stop bye the Buttonwood family winery just outside of Solvang. We had a great time Wine tasting, and picnicking in their gardens for an amazing family lunch.

Here are a bunch of my favorite images from Casey and Charles San Diego Wedding at the Bayfront Hilton hotel.   I Can’t say enough great things about Casey and Charles!  They were a blast to work with.  I wish I had more time to hang out the day after the wedding and enjoy beautiful Downtown San Diego.  San Diego is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to photograph weddings.  There are just so many amazing photography locations. I could have kept the Bride and Groom in the Gaslamp shooting portraits for hours!  Not to mention the beautiful beaches.  Looking forward to returning soon to photograph another wedding in San Diego.  Can’t forget to say thanks to my amazing 2nd photographer Sarah of Sun Drawn Studios in Huntington Beach, and also Great Job from the wedding coordinator Lauren Wilson from Go To Girl Marketing, LLC. 619-847-4477.

What an amazing time to walk into someones home/life to help them remember the little moments that change so fast.  Gotta say Thanks to the canon family for having me out to make these special images of their family.  Definitely not your typical Orange County Portrait Session!

This location is amazing for about 1 month a year.  Dirt turns to weeds turns to shrubs,  add rain.  Lots of rain, and shrubs turn to Beautiful yellow flowers covering the landscape.  I plan on bringing another couple back to this same location in the fall when its all dried out after a long hot summer.  Still really beautiful, and totally different look.  I especially like the graphic nature of the environment, with the dense yellows bound by the beautiful blue sky.  Complementary color scheme at it’s finest!  Count on seeing more posts from orange county weddings in the near future!

Lets welcome my latest Nephew Ari Klatzker into the world!  Born 8 pounds even & 20 inches long!  This baby Session has waited long enough to be posted on my blog!   I really love these New Life Sessions.  It’s just such a massive idea…concept…situation, when you bring another life into this world.  It really brings me back to the birth of my sons.   Incredible!  I can’t wait to design Ari’s Birth Announcements.

This couple is special! Very very very good friends of Ilana and I. To sum it up Memo and Laura Flores are just people we wish we could spend more time with. When I heard they were going to tie the knot, I jumped at the chance to capture their very special day! They celebrated their vows in Pasadena, then off to the Los Angeles Arboretum for some great images of the couple. Hope you enjoy!

We kept it mellow this year, and decided against having U2 play for Gideons 3rd Birthday party. Just a little down home fiesta with family and a few friends. A little delayed with this post for sure. Kate and Grant were married at Crystal Cove State Park on the Beach in Beautiful Orange County California. It was an amazing warm April day at the beach! I noticed a busy restaurant down on the sand while we were shooting Kate and Grants wedding. The Beachcomber restaurant at Crystal cove was were my wife and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on Saturday afternoon. What an amazing place to relax, southern california style. Can’t wait for another Crystal Cove wedding!
