I have been meaning to get some of these images from my recent trip to New York City on the blog.  Well the waits over here are just a few of my favorite images from the trip.  My selections focused mostly on images that say “New York”.  I couldn’t resist a few portraits of Ilana and Gideon;)  Enjoy!

So it starts with the wedding….then the baby’s on the way….then another baby. Pretty soon what you have is a family. I must say the Horans are always a blast to work with! I captured Jim and Tracy’s wedding in 2006. Our next meeting was at the hospital for the birth of their first son Jack. The latest episode takes place in their home with the newest member of their tribe. He was so cute….and tiny. It’s crazy how fast your kids grow, and you start to forget when they were so tiny. I just wanted to say congrats on your beautiful baby boy! As always…..Enjoy the images.

Please welcome Gabrielle Grace into our world.
This “new life” session was for my dear friends second child. It’s always magical being around friends and family at these special times in their lives! The images really tell the story of Gabrielle’s first day on earth. I can’t wait to document her on film many more times in the future. However, I really must say there was a bit of competition for the “Limelight” with Garrett’s hilarious antics. (He’s 2 years old, and crazy cute!) He managed to get some face time with the camera for a couple images exploding with his personality!

Can’t wait to deliver these with a bow…pink of course!

These two were a blast at the beach! I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding next august at Rancho Capistrano.

Had a fantastic session yesterday at the beach….Great couple (Carly & Joel-Getting married at Rancho Capistrano in August), excellent weather….and then I found this shot while they were changing outfits. Just kind of like it! Hope you enjoy it to. BTW more to come from the actual session. Just working through the images today…..they look incredible!

Just purchased a tryptic of images taken at various parts of the race last Sunday….and yes I am still working on my form;-)

Don’t call it a comeback! Well if you didn’t know, I have been trying to become an avid jogger…. It can be tough sometimes! The latest goal was the Huntington Beach 1/2 marathon on Sunday Feb 1, 2009. Last years race in 2008 was held in 50 degree horizontal rain. Needless to say the conditions were less than optimal. I also must add that my training was a bit lacking. So long story short, I was defeated, half frozen, and completely thrashed at the finish.
But I am happy to announce that the tide has changed. This year I was determined to pass the finish line with a skip and not a crawl. After much more planning and proper training, I was able to not only run the race I wanted, but to also achieve a personal best time for the half marathon (13.1 Miles). The weather even cooperated! The Marathon was held under beautiful blue skies with a slightly cool breeze.
