Here is a really fun slideshow from Gina and Mike’s celebration at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach.

I could write a book about how much I like Gina and Mike. We had a fantastic time shooting images, but it really just felt like I was hangin out with old friends. Don’t want to get too mushy so I’ll stop. Stay tuned for an additional post with some more of Gina and Mike’s wedding favs!

Also must thank a couple incredible individuals for helping to make the day a success. Cris from paradise delight did an incredible job with all the flowers and styling. Also must thank Stephanie at Exquisite Events for a truly professional job coordinating the wedding and keeping the flow of the day at the perfect pace.

First off let me just preface this post with “WARNING….THIS SESSION ROCKED!!!!!”
Our session was a spontaneous roaming type. The kind where you don’t know what you’ll happen upon, and when you are really forced to be creative and fresh. Leslie and Eddie are locals also, living just up the road. We chose a path through some of Eddie’s previous stomping grounds in the LBC. Enjoy!

Had a great time working with Majid and Naseem this week at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. It’s a fantastic location for portraits if your looking for dramatic lines and lots of different textures. I’d say our session was a booming success! Hope you think so too! Can’t wait to be part of their big day this August at the Andaz Hotel on the Sunset strip.

Recently had the pleasure of photographing a Southern Indian engagement ceremony in Huntington Beach. Previn and Dimple were a really nice couple, and super easy to work with. It’s always interesting for me looking into a new culture and traditions. Having visited India on an around the world trip many years ago, there was a couple things that I took from India. Extreme hospitality, beautiful colors everywhere, and an intriguing culture. The sights, sounds, and smells brought me right back to some incredible memories from my trip. In short, I really enjoyed the ceremony and am looking forward to more in the future. Hope you enjoy too.
PS. Dr. Warren….Thanks for the fantastic food! My wife is still jealous;-)

BE SURE TO LOOK AT THE SLIDESHOW IN THE BOTTOM OF THIS BLOGPOST!!!!!!

When you think about a picture perfect wedding what images appear in your head?
Kelly and Brett’s inner image was set amid tropical breezes gently rustling palm leaves with an incredible sunset over the sea. Olowalu Plantation house on the west side of Maui offered the eclectic island style, with unbelievable tropical backdrops.
Just wanted to say thanks to my incredible couple Kelly and Brett….You guys were fantastic! Also wanted to say that your families and friends were really great to get to know and spend a little time with. I really enjoyed meeting everyone, and appreciated all the great hospitality. Lori at Tropical Maui Weddings expertly coordinated every detail perfectly, and was a blast to work beside! Can’t wait to connect with her again this August for another Maui wedding! So enough blabbing….take a look at the images, and slideshow below!
