After talking on the phone a couple times with Kristen last week, we decided on an engagement session with an urban feel. I really find it interesting how we (as humans;) paint a mental picture in our minds of people we speak with on the phone. Actually, what’s really cool is when the person in no way fits your image. Yesterday was my first time meeting Kristen and Dave, and this was one of those times! I was definitely digging their style, and felt their connection instantly. My favorite kind of engagement session.

Enjoy the images!

This session was a blur. Ilana and I had a brief window of time to shoot a casual session with Jenny and Rob on Friday up in San Francisco. Rob was scheduled to meet up with all his groomsmen for the Giants game (It was a no hitter!) so we had to double time it around the city. Our speed photography session was a blast! Enjoy the images!

First off let me just preface this post with “WARNING….THIS SESSION ROCKED!!!!!”
Our session was a spontaneous roaming type. The kind where you don’t know what you’ll happen upon, and when you are really forced to be creative and fresh. Leslie and Eddie are locals also, living just up the road. We chose a path through some of Eddie’s previous stomping grounds in the LBC. Enjoy!

Recently had the pleasure of photographing a Southern Indian engagement ceremony in Huntington Beach. Previn and Dimple were a really nice couple, and super easy to work with. It’s always interesting for me looking into a new culture and traditions. Having visited India on an around the world trip many years ago, there was a couple things that I took from India. Extreme hospitality, beautiful colors everywhere, and an intriguing culture. The sights, sounds, and smells brought me right back to some incredible memories from my trip. In short, I really enjoyed the ceremony and am looking forward to more in the future. Hope you enjoy too.
PS. Dr. Warren….Thanks for the fantastic food! My wife is still jealous;-)
