It has been a few months since I have photographed a little ones birthday party. That ended last weekend when I had the opportunity to capture Little Noah’s first birthday in Huntington Beach. I really don’t have to say it, but I will. Noah is crazy cute! You will probably think so too. Kids crack me up. They all react to their environment in different ways. Noah cried when it was time for cake with the group watching and singing happy b-day, but the images are priceless.
Hope you like them too.

These are a couple of my favorite people in the world about to make another one of my favorite people. I had a great time taking a couple “prego shots” as Christine puts it. We had a incredible BBQ dinner at The beachwood BBQ in seal beach, then set off to capture the bump.
I’m Looking forward to photographing the baby in the hospital very soon!

Enjoy the images!

Recently had the pleasure of photographing a Southern Indian engagement ceremony in Huntington Beach. Previn and Dimple were a really nice couple, and super easy to work with. It’s always interesting for me looking into a new culture and traditions. Having visited India on an around the world trip many years ago, there was a couple things that I took from India. Extreme hospitality, beautiful colors everywhere, and an intriguing culture. The sights, sounds, and smells brought me right back to some incredible memories from my trip. In short, I really enjoyed the ceremony and am looking forward to more in the future. Hope you enjoy too.
PS. Dr. Warren….Thanks for the fantastic food! My wife is still jealous;-)

I knew this day would come eventually……But I never thought it would be so soon. My little guy has taken a liking to the extreme sport much the way of his father. My nickname in some circles is x-gamer;-) While Little Gideon might not be reaching extremes right not, I’m sure we are in for it in the future. I guess its my punishment for scaring my parents by jumping off just about anything as a kid. How ironic.

We had a fabulous time celebrating my son Gideon’s 2nd Bday last sunday at My Germ…sorry I could not resist. A fun time was had by all. The kids went bananas for 2 hours strait, as parents looked on. Gideon has made the transition from Baby to little Boy. It’s been an amazing experience watching him change over the past 2 years. He is incredible. Here are a few pieces of the puzzle.

Don’t call it a comeback! Well if you didn’t know, I have been trying to become an avid jogger…. It can be tough sometimes! The latest goal was the Huntington Beach 1/2 marathon on Sunday Feb 1, 2009. Last years race in 2008 was held in 50 degree horizontal rain. Needless to say the conditions were less than optimal. I also must add that my training was a bit lacking. So long story short, I was defeated, half frozen, and completely thrashed at the finish.
But I am happy to announce that the tide has changed. This year I was determined to pass the finish line with a skip and not a crawl. After much more planning and proper training, I was able to not only run the race I wanted, but to also achieve a personal best time for the half marathon (13.1 Miles). The weather even cooperated! The Marathon was held under beautiful blue skies with a slightly cool breeze.
