Had the pleasure of working with Onita and Mike last Saturday at the McCharles House in old town Tustin. The images really sing! I love the old Victorian Charm at McCharles House. A big thanks to Vivian and Mary from Jays Catering for putting together such a beautiful event. Rogers Gardens also did a beautiful job with the flowers and Bouquets.

Well not really local style I guess. Yes, all the locations we photographed on the day of the wedding were within 4 miles of my house. That felt a little strange. Almost like I was running errands all day as we whisked from location to location. Jenn and Sean were a blast to work with! They chose pictures over tradition. We put together a great first meeting and portrait session at a local golf course. The results speak for themselves. Super fun group of baseball/softball players in the bridal party were ready to have fun! Jenn and Sean were definitely super-charged up as well. The grand in long beach held a beautiful evening ceremony, and very classy reception.

Christen and Rick celebrated an amazing destination wedding in a doll house. I know what your thinking. Chris has lost it…. well not completely. This weekends Historic victorian property in San Rafael set amidst towering connifers was an incredible setting for a wedding. We had great weather, fun families, and some serious chemistry between these two!

My first time at the brand new Vellano Country club in Chino Hills. It is a beautiful Tuscan style club house nestled deep in auburn colored hills. Looking forward to going back in the future! The ceremony went off without a hitch as the sun slowly sunk below the hills. Also I have to say , Letty and Mike were a blast to work with! Round of applause for my talented second photographer Sarah from Sundrawn studios in Huntington Beach! Great feminine touch;-)

Had a great shoot working with my mystery couple Kathy and Michael. They live in the Chicago area and booked me over the phone about a year ago. I finally got the chance to meet them a couple days before their big day for an casual portrait session in Laguna Beach. The wedding was incredible! I love clients that pay attention to detail. Everything was absolutely beautiful, including the images! I must say thanks to my uber-talented second shooter Joel Austell. Fantastic Job. Also a very large thank you to the coordinator Victoria of Coronado Weddings for keeping everything running smoothly. Message for brides out there…..Good Coordinators are worth the investment! They really make a difference helping to keep the day on track. Speaking of keeping on track…..Enjoy the images!

It has been a little time since I had the opportunity to work at Rancho Capistrano in south orange county. It still rocks!!!! Definitely a fan of the rustic Spanish style architecture. Carly and Joel were also a blast to work with. Its always fun to see the same families over and over as each child gets married! CArly your brother is the only one left…no pressure;-)

This was a fun one! Great couple, multicultural experience, Dragon dancers….I’ll stop. Kathryn and Coleman were married in Irvine on August 15th. After the ceremony the families celebrated at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. Lauren Austell and I had a great time capturing all the details and great moments!

Well I have to say that I am really looking forward to having a little Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) with this exceptional couple in the very near future.
It was a absolute blast capturing Hoa and Jason’s wedding celebration at Olowalu plantation house on the west side of Maui. It’s a truly beautiful tropical location right on the beach. I can’t wait to get back there! Big thanks to Lori of Tropical maui weddings for running a smooth stress free celebration! The music was provided by her husband Jaime. Seriously any brides reading this….if your getting married in Maui hire this couple. Lori is a blast to be around and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table to help you plan the perfect event, and Jamie’s got an amazing voice that forces relaxation, and enjoyment.

Just a fun quick post today. This is a composite of 4 images shot with a very long lens in the dark. I was really surprised how clear the Girl actually looked when I zoomed in on her. Hoa and Jason are being very patient to see some wedding images from their tropical wedding, so I’ll get crackin on that.
