Hello all!

Had a great Summit house wedding in Fullerton last Saturday with Scott and Anita Lee! The Summit house is a fantastic location with top notch service. Their staff was very courteous and helpful throughout the day. Looking forward to more Summit House weddings in the future. Also really enjoyed working with Sarah O of Sundrawn Studios again. Here are a bunch of my favorite images from Casey and Charles San Diego Wedding at the Bayfront Hilton hotel.   I Can’t say enough great things about Casey and Charles!  They were a blast to work with.  I wish I had more time to hang out the day after the wedding and enjoy beautiful Downtown San Diego.  San Diego is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to photograph weddings.  There are just so many amazing photography locations. I could have kept the Bride and Groom in the Gaslamp shooting portraits for hours!  Not to mention the beautiful beaches.  Looking forward to returning soon to photograph another wedding in San Diego.  Can’t forget to say thanks to my amazing 2nd photographer Sarah of Sun Drawn Studios in Huntington Beach, and also Great Job from the wedding coordinator Lauren Wilson from Go To Girl Marketing, LLC. 619-847-4477.

A little delayed with this post for sure. Kate and Grant were married at Crystal Cove State Park on the Beach in Beautiful Orange County California. It was an amazing warm April day at the beach! I noticed a busy restaurant down on the sand while we were shooting Kate and Grants wedding. The Beachcomber restaurant at Crystal cove was were my wife and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on Saturday afternoon. What an amazing place to relax, southern california style. Can’t wait for another Crystal Cove wedding!

Had a blast photographing Aileen and Matt’s long beach wedding at the Hyatt Long Beach. It was a beautiful spring wedding starting at the Hyatt Long Beach, then moving locations to the Japanese Gardens at California State Long Beach. The Ceremony was really beautiful in the garden. After signing their Marriage license, we headed out to photograph the bride and groom in downtown long beach. The more Urban look would prove to be a nice compliment to tranquil Japanese Garden setting. Their wedding album is going to rock! I can’t wait to design it!

Southern California wedding and abroad

Well not really local style I guess. Yes, all the locations we photographed on the day of the wedding were within 4 miles of my house. That felt a little strange. Almost like I was running errands all day as we whisked from location to location. Jenn and Sean were a blast to work with! They chose pictures over tradition. We put together a great first meeting and portrait session at a local golf course. The results speak for themselves. Super fun group of baseball/softball players in the bridal party were ready to have fun! Jenn and Sean were definitely super-charged up as well. The grand in long beach held a beautiful evening ceremony, and very classy reception.

This was a fun one! Great couple, multicultural experience, Dragon dancers….I’ll stop. Kathryn and Coleman were married in Irvine on August 15th. After the ceremony the families celebrated at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. Lauren Austell and I had a great time capturing all the details and great moments!

Well I have to say that I am really looking forward to having a little Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) with this exceptional couple in the very near future.
It was a absolute blast capturing Hoa and Jason’s wedding celebration at Olowalu plantation house on the west side of Maui. It’s a truly beautiful tropical location right on the beach. I can’t wait to get back there! Big thanks to Lori of Tropical maui weddings for running a smooth stress free celebration! The music was provided by her husband Jaime. Seriously any brides reading this….if your getting married in Maui hire this couple. Lori is a blast to be around and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table to help you plan the perfect event, and Jamie’s got an amazing voice that forces relaxation, and enjoyment.

A little more from August first with Naseem and Majid wedding at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood.

A little delayed…but worth the wait!
I have been crazy busy shooting weddings all over the place this summer. Naseem and Majid celebrated their vows at the Andaz hotel on Saturday August 1st. It was a beautiful affair! I must mention that both families were a blast to be part of on such a special day!
Special thanks to all that helped make the wedding a smashing success! Charlie King I mean YOU! Charlie from Good Gracious events did a simply fantastic job. Looking forward to working with you again in the future! Also can’t forget my second photographer Nathan Wauk for simply amazing me with his talent! Great Job Nate!
